Her first major role in the screen was Fiona Gallagher from the UK show Shameless' first two season. The Virgin Queen (2006) featured her as queen Elizabeth as Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen, and she also performed the principal part from From Darkness (2015). Duff was in Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters Notions on a Scandal (2007) French Film (2008) The Last Station, Nowhere Boy Before Go To Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette (2005).
